Student Teaching Down Under
Students wanting to complete their undergraduate degree in agricultural education are encouraged to take advantage of doing a portion of their student teaching in Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia. Student teachers will complete the first four to five weeks of their student teaching in a local high school in Tennessee. The remainder of their student teaching (approximately eleven weeks) would be spent teaching agriculture and science in Australia. Scholarships are available for such an experience.
Developing Global Leaders Down Under
Undergraduate and graduate students from any major or college are welcome to join this faculty-directed learning experience to the land down under. Visit popular Australian cities and see the sites while learning about leadership, communications, extension, and global/cultural diversity.
