Teaching and Learning in Australia

Student Teaching Down Under

Students wanting to complete their undergraduate degree in agricultural education are encouraged to take advantage of doing a portion of their student teaching in Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia. Student teachers will complete the first four to five weeks of their student teaching in a local high school in Tennessee. The remainder of their student teaching (approximately eleven weeks) would be spent teaching agriculture and science in Australia. Scholarships are available for such an experience.
